How DiscDex works

A persistent tracker for the Brixton DGPT trading card set.

1

Browse the checklist

Pick a set, then a subset. View it By Player or By Parallel to find exactly the card you're after.

2

Mark your cards

Each card has four buttons: Keeping (you have it), PC (a keeper for a player you collect), Sale/Trade (available to others), and Want. Tap + to add a copy and − to remove one. Hover a label (or see the key above the list) for a reminder of what it means. Nothing is listed for sale unless you mark it Sale/Trade. Add a whole parallel at once with the Bulk Want panel, or tag a player's cards in bulk from the player search.

3

Add photos and details

Record serial numbers on numbered cards, add photos from your camera or files, and choose which PC or Sale/Trade photos appear publicly.

4

Find a match

Your Sale/Trade cards appear in the Market. DiscDex automatically matches what you offer with members who Want it, and shows offers from your Want list.

5

Auction a card

Want to let the market set the price? Hit Auction on any Sale/Trade card in My binder to set a starting bid, increment, and end time. Other members browse Market → Auctions and place bids. The seller and winning bidder see each other's contact info when time runs out.

6

Message privately

Prefer a direct deal? Select one or more cards from the same member and start a private bundle conversation — either side can add their own cards too, for a real two-way trade. Nothing is saved until you send the first message.

7

Complete the deal

Either member can adjust bundle cards and quantities. For a one-directional bundle, the seller chooses Mark sold/traded. For a two-way trade, each side confirms — the trade completes once both have.

The terms you'll see

Sale/TradeCards you've chosen to make available. Nothing is listed until you mark it here; anything you do is shown in the Market.
WantCards you're chasing. Use the Bulk Want panel to add a whole parallel across every player at once.
KeepingCards you have and aren't selling. Never listed in the Market. Counts toward your completion bar.
PCPersonal Collection — your keepers for the players you collect. Counts toward your completion bar and shows on the Collectors page.
AuctionA timed listing where buyers place bids. The seller sets a starting bid, minimum increment, and end time. Highest bid when time runs out wins.
ParallelA color or foil variant of a player's card — Base, Gold, Shimmer, and so on.
Run /NPrint run: how many of that parallel were ever made. /10 means only ten exist.
Pulled / availableHow many copies members have logged versus how many of the print run are still unclaimed.

Adding a lot of cards

Add cards

  • Sort your cards by set, then by parallel before you start (all your Golds together, all your Blues together). It is much faster than going player by player.
  • Tap Add cards in the menu (the highlighted button). Pick the set, the subset, then the parallel you are holding, for example Gold /50.
  • You get one list of every player with that parallel. Tap the status buttons on each player you have; changes save as you go.
  • On numbered parallels, a serial-number box appears in the row as soon as you mark a card, so you can type the number right there.
  • When you finish a parallel, change the Parallel dropdown and keep going. Your choices stay in the page address, so Back returns to the same list.
  • Photos are added from the player's page (tap a card in My binder or My PC to get there).
  • Want a whole parallel across a subset as Want? Use the Want checklist at the top of the subset page.
  • Hundreds of cards? Use the Import panel on My binder. Download the spreadsheet template, fill in one row per card, and upload it.

Using DiscDex on your phone

  • Install it like an app. On iPhone or iPad, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button (the box with an arrow pointing up), then tap Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the browser menu and tap Install app or Add to Home screen. After that, open DiscDex from the new icon on your home screen.
  • Turn on notifications. Go to Profile → Push notifications and enable them to hear about messages, auctions, completed deals and Want-list cards hitting the Market. On iPhone and iPad this only works once DiscDex is added to your home screen and opened from there.
  • Photograph a card. Open the player's page for a card you have (Keeping, PC or Sale/Trade), find the card, and tap the camera button. Allow camera access when asked, take the photo, crop it, and save it. You can also choose a photo from your gallery instead.
  • Menu. On a phone, tap the menu button at the top to see every link: Sets, My binder, My PC, Add cards, Market, Messages and the rest.
  • If notifications or the camera stop working, check that they are allowed for DiscDex in your phone's or browser's settings.

Keeping, PC and Sale/Trade

  • Keeping is the default for a card you have. It is yours, never shown in the Market, and counts toward your completion bar.
  • PC is for the players you collect. PC cards also count toward completion, can be shown in the PC Gallery, and put the player on the Collectors page.
  • Sale/Trade is the only status that makes a card available. It is never set for you; mark it only on copies you want to move.
  • A card can hold several statuses at once, for example one copy PC and two Sale/Trade. Each status keeps its own quantity and serial number.
  • Your completion bar and set percentages count every card you have as Keeping or PC, once per card.
  • Tagged everything PC before Keeping existed? List the players you collect under Profile → My PC players, then tap Move PC to Keeping in My PC. Cards for the players on your list stay PC and the rest become Keeping.

Finding your way around

  • Sets is the checklist. Pick a set, then a subset, and view it By Player or By Parallel.
  • My binder lists your Sale/Trade, Want and Keeping cards; My PC lists the cards you keep for players you collect.
  • Market shows Sale/Trade cards, auctions, and matches with your Want list.
  • Messages holds your private trade conversations; a badge shows unread ones.
  • My cards groups My binder and My PC. More holds the PC Gallery (photos members choose to share), Collectors (who collects which players) and this guide. On a phone these appear as separate links in the menu.
  • Profile is where you set your Discord username, your PC players, and your account details.

Collectors

  • The Collectors page shows who collects which players. It combines each member's My PC players list, their PC cards, and the Brixton Discord Collectors Dashboard.
  • Dashboard collectors are matched to members by Discord username or display name. Set your Discord username on your profile so your players show up under your name.
  • Discord collectors without a DiscDex account are listed separately at the bottom.
  • Search by member or by player to find everyone who collects someone.

Messages and privacy

  • Each conversation belongs to exactly two members. A bundle can be one-directional (all cards from one member) or a genuine two-way trade (cards from both sides).
  • Each active conversation can contain up to 20 cards total, from either or both sides.
  • Opening a bundle draft does not create an inbox entry; the first sent message does.
  • Additions, removals, and quantity changes appear as notices in the thread.
  • Message dates and times display in each viewer's local timezone.
  • Completed conversations stay private and move from Active to Archived.

Auctions

  • Create an auction from the Auction button on any Sale/Trade card in My binder, or from Market → Auctions → + Create auction.
  • Set a starting bid (whole dollars), a minimum bid increment, and an end date and time.
  • You can auction a single card or a multi-card lot in one listing.
  • Bids are max bids: you enter the most you're willing to pay, and the system only shows/requires the minimum needed to keep you in the lead — your true max is never shown to anyone, including the seller.
  • Choose an ending style: Sudden death ends exactly at the scheduled time, or Bump timer extends the end time by a seller-chosen number of minutes whenever a bid lands within that same window.
  • Sellers can cancel an auction before any bids are placed.
  • The auction closes automatically at the end time. The highest max bid wins, at the lowest price needed to beat the next-highest bidder.
  • After closing, the seller sees the winner's contact info and the winner sees the seller's — connect via Whatnot or Discord to arrange the deal.
  • If no bids were placed, the auction ends with no winner and the cards remain on your Sale/Trade list.
  • Bid history shows how the price moved over time, never any bidder's private max.

After a sale or trade

  • For a one-directional bundle, only that bundle's seller can mark the deal complete.
  • For a two-way trade, either side can confirm first; the trade completes automatically once both have confirmed — nothing is removed from either collection until then.
  • Changing the bundle (adding, removing, or adjusting a card) clears any existing confirmations, so a two-way trade always completes on its current terms.
  • Completion removes exactly the bundled quantities from each side's own Sale/Trade listing and preserves any remaining copies.
  • If availability changes, the bundle must be corrected before completion.
  • Removing the final card cancels and archives the bundle.
  • Archived threads are read-only and can be removed separately by either participant.
  • Removing your archived view does not remove the other member's copy.
